A traditional carton loudspeaker in this way is not actually a heart MartinLogan product, an American firm famous for the high end electrostatic and hybrid panels - yet it nevertheless remains the layout that is most intriguing here. Sound quality

Marrying a thread tweeter into a moving coil drive unit is not always simple, but the Motion 15 has a smooth reaction and no perceptible reply peaks that are ugly. It airiness that no opponents here have and auditions exceptionally good, being blessed with a delicacy. It's an insightful and dramatic sound that reminds me of how defective standard metal dome tweeters will often be.

But it is can't and a little loudspeaker transcend its own physical limits. It seems more lightweight than several, lacking bass expansion in contrast to Quadral Platinum M25 and the bigger KEF R300. Not merely does it not go low, but it does not have that sense of effortlessness. But even though it could not be prodigious, its bottom end is tuneful and lithe thumping dance tracks show excellent pleasure. The bass appears to reap benefits from that clarity in the group and treble, adding actual zest to the proceeding and scything through the muddy mixture. That tweeter is excellent using the snare drum pattern, also and copying it extremely quickly monitoring the dynamic accenting better than virtually all here. The effect is the Motion 15 actually loving itself and is captivating to listen to into any kind of music.
